Upsite Technologies to Discuss Cooling Infrastructure Utilization at The Critical Facilities Summit6 min read
Presentation to include case studies from 45 data centers worldwide
Albuquerque, NM – September 22, 2014 – Upsite Technologies, Inc., a leader in data center airflow management solutions, today announced that Lars Strong, Senior Engineer, will be discussing Upsite’s data center airflow metric, the Cooling Capacity Factor (CCF) at the Critical Facilities Summit in Charlotte, NC Sept. 29 – Oct. 1.
The presentation, titled “Utilization of Computer Room Cooling Infrastructure” will be held on Tuesday, September 30 at 3:30 p.m. Lars Strong will discuss the current state of computer room cooling, review the results of cooling capacity over-implementation, and evaluate energy data from 45 data center sites. He will also discuss how sites can use the Cooling Capacity Factor metric to determine infrastructure utilization in their own facility.
“We are excited to share our knowledge gathered from 45 different data centers and explore how a few simple metrics such as the CCF can reveal how to right-size cooling infrastructure and gain real efficiency and financial improvements,” said Lars Strong, Senior Engineer with Upsite Technologies.
Upsite Technologies recently announced a new product offering, the AisleLok Modular Containment. Available in a rack top baffle and bi-directional doors, Upsite’s Modular Containment is an out-of-the box containment solution that can be self-installed in minutes.
During the show, Upsite will also be exhibiting at Booth #312. Stop by to see the new exhibit, learn more about their newest product, and pick up information and research in the field of airflow management.
